“You say”

2019

A collaborative creation choreographed and performed by sibling duo Charity Anderson Reid and Landon Anderson. This cabaret theatre arts duet tells an intimate and heartfelt story of two siblings bound by faith and fraternal love. Set to “You Say,” by Lauren Daigle the piece follows a sister as she wrestles with self-doubt and the quiet erosion of her confidence. As her belief in herself falters, her older brother becomes both guide and anchor, gently and persistently reminding her of her true worth—not as the world defines it, but as God declares it to be. Through athleticism, multidisciplinary execution and nuanced storytelling, the duet unfolds as a journey from uncertainty to reassurance, illuminating the power of faith, familial support, and the transformative strength of being seen through divine truth. It was a piece to be remembered by all in attendance having received a standing ovation and ranking 1st place from all judges at its national debut.

In a way this piece tells the story about our real life relationship.
