Taiko Latin medley
Miyoko is a fabulous dancer with a taste for challenge! I have had the privilege of being able to teach her and create with her. This latin medley was created for the 2024 Adult Summer Showcase at Pacific Ballroom Dance. It is danced to traditional Japanese Taiko and a beloved Japanese pop song by the elegant Fuyumi Sakamoto.

Colors of the Wind
Jules is a delight and has become a very dear friend of mine—so much so that she has come to adopt me as her own. Her story and her life experience are one of a kind. From living in dire circumstances in Korea, to being saved and later widowed by her true love. Much like Pocahontas, she gives to all those around her and lives one with the earth. This piece, as the majority of the works she does, is dedicated to her late husband who walks with her daily from the other side. Danced at the 2023 Adult Winter Showcase at Pacific Ballroom Dance.
